HARBOR LAUNCHES NEW MOBILE WEBSITE
Phoenix Sky Harbor
International Airport launched a cutting-edge, customer-friendly mobile version
of its website, skyharbor.com. The new mobile site, developed internally by
Phoenix Aviation Department technology staff, offers quick access to information
such as flight status, parking, shops and restaurants, and ground
transportation. It features a "Plan Your Visit" interactive tool, which allows
users to customize their search for amenities and services near their departure
or arrival gates. The information is formatted for a mobile device and easy to
read on a smaller screen.
SCOTTSDALE
OUTRANKS MANY NORTH AMERICAN DESTINATIONS AS A CONVENTION SITE
According
to Metropoll XIV, meeting planners rank Scottsdale No. 16 as a convention site
among 40 top meetings destinations in North America. Scottsdale outperformed
major cities such as Philadelphia, Houston, Charlotte, Seattle and Toronto, the
study indicated. In several categories, Scottsdale achieved a top-10 ranking
for its scenic setting (6th), outdoor recreational opportunities (6th), good
climate (7th), low crime rate (9th) and cleanliness (10th).
